Pelješac peninsula wine & oyster tasting tour

Meet your driver to go to the Peljesac peninsula. Your first stop will be Ston, a
beautiful place best known for its Salt Work and second longest city walls in the
world. Once you’ve explored Ston, it’s time for the best part of this tour, wine
tasting. You will go to three different family wineries, Miloš, Matuško, and Edivo
winery. Edivo winery differs from others because it offers wines from amphorae
that are stored under the sea. The old sunken boat, which has been lying at the
bottom of Mali Ston Bay for years, is a sea warehouse where amphorae are stored
for 700 days at an ideal temperature of 15 to 17 degrees. Taste some of the best
quality Croatian wines and make amazing memories. Pelješac peninsula is known
for its long tradition in winemaking. Have a glass of wine looking over the beautiful
vineyards that cover the peninsula. The oyster experience is our unique gastronomic
attraction. Sailing in a boat you will enjoy the untouched natural beauty of the
protected ecosystem of Mali Ston Bay, along with the sun and the sea in which
many small islets “are bathing” and where our family has grown oysters for
generations and since 1980, has run our family restaurant Bota Šare. The entire
experience also has an educational character since we gladly share our knowledge
and experience about the process of cultivating oysters. You will learn how to
gather oysters and open them on an oyster farm. In the end, you will
enjoy a tasting of world-famous oysters, just taken out of the sea, on the floating
dock surrounded by oyster beds.
